Kosovo and Belarus will conclude their Euro 2024 qualification campaign in a face-off in Pristina, where neither team can progress to the European Championship or the playoffs.
The match will be a chance for both teams to play for pride in their final Group I fixture.
Kosovo, despite not making it to Euro 2024, has displayed a solid performance with two wins, five draws, and two losses, accumulating 11 points in the group.
They showed strong form recently, securing victories against Andorra and Israel and drawing against Switzerland in their last fixture.
Belarus, currently fifth in the group, secured only their second win in the section by defeating Andorra 1-0. With two wins, three draws, and four losses, they gathered nine points in the qualifying campaign.
Kosovo may include Muhamet Hyseni, Lirim Kastrati, and Altin Zeqiri in the starting lineup following their 1-1 draw against Switzerland.
Elbasan Rashani, with five goals to his name, is expected to lead Kosovo’s attack.
Belarus is likely to field a similar starting XI that secured a win against Andorra. Maksim Skavysh might earn a starting spot after appearing as a substitute in their previous match.
Max Ebong and Dmitry Antilevsky are set to maintain their positions in the team.
Dellova, Aliti, Krasniqi;
Hyseni, Kastrati, Vojvoda, Berisha;
Zeqiri, Rashani, Bytyqi
Karpovich, Pavlovets, Parkhomenko, Volkov, Pechenin;
Kilmovich, Kaplenko, Ebong;
Prediction: Kosovo 2-1 Belarus
Despite Belarus’s previous win against Kosovo in June, Kosovo’s overall performance in the group has been commendable with only two defeats from nine matches.
We anticipate Kosovo to secure a victory in their final game, finishing their campaign on a high note.
