Foot Mercato reporter Santi Aouna has shared that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are internally split on whether to pursue Liverpool’s Colombian winger Luis Diaz.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently mentioned that Liverpool is not eager to sell Diaz, and PSG has other priorities in the transfer market.

However, Aouna reports a disagreement between President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Football Advisor Luis Campos regarding a possible move for the 27-year-old winger.
Diaz, who has had a standout season with Liverpool, contributing six goals and four assists in 27 games as Jurgen Klopp’s team competes for more trophies alongside the Carabao Cup. With Klopp set to leave after nine years, it could be the right time for the Colombian winger to seek new opportunities.
In January 2022, Diaz signed a five-year contract with Liverpool for a reported fee of £37.5 million, with additional add-ons of £12.5 million. Before joining Liverpool, he attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur following his performances at Porto.
Should Diaz leave Liverpool in the summer, he would command a significant fee, especially as PSG sees him as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
The Qatari leader of the PSG project views Diaz as a potential successor to Mbappe.
Assistant Antero Henrique has reportedly made contact with the Colombian’s representatives. On the other hand, Football Advisor Luis Campos prefers scouting young players with higher potential. Whether the two sides can agree on a move before the transfer window opens remains uncertain.
