Monday’s Turkish Super Lig Predictions
Trabzonspor vs. Hatayspor (Monday, 2.00pm)
Hatayspor will visit an out-of-form Trabzonspor side in the final set of fixtures over the Super Lig matchday on Monday.
Both teams played in the Turkish Cup last 16 in midweek and were taken to 120 minutes with different outcomes.
- Prediction: Trabzonspor 1-2 Hatayspor
Despite home advantage and more quality on paper, Trabzonspor has been hopelessly out of form recently. The midweek cup win only covered some very glaring issues.
Hatayspor, however, should remain confident despite their penalty shootout defeat. Their recent league performance has seen them move clear of trouble, and another good result could be on the cards.
Samsunspor vs. Antalyaspor (Monday, 5.00pm)
The action continues in round 25 of the Turkish Super Lig as Samsunspor welcomes Antalyaspor to the Samsun 19 May Stadium on Monday evening.
Both teams are looking to bounce back after being eliminated from the Turkish Cup during the week.
- Prediction: Samsunspor 1-2 Antalyaspor
While both teams are coming into this match off poor results, Antalyaspor looks likely to take the chance to stop their poor run. However, we expect it to be a close battle given Samsunspor’s decent home record this season.
Kayserispor vs. Besiktas (Monday, 5.00pm)
The final match of gameweek 25 in the Turkish Super Lig will come from RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadyumu, where Kayserispor will host Besiktas on Monday evening.
The hosts are in desperate need of a positive result, entering this match with 28 points after 24 matches, while the visitors have managed 39 points over the same period.
- Prediction: Kayserispor 1-1 Besiktas
Besiktas has struggled for consistency this season, and while they come into this match following back-to-back victories, their performances in those matches were unconvincing.
Yilmaz has made a solid start as manager of Kayserispor, and we feel he may be able to secure a point against his former employers.
